Casa Cielo is a done deal…with an asterisk (3690 21st Street)

They asked $3,745,000 and they got….? We’ll just never know. It’s another one of those deals that closed with an asterisk (meaning sales price not disclosed). Something tells us it was close to that. It only spent 8 days on the market.

In case you’re wondering what’s all the fuss, here are the marketing remarks:

Atop Liberty Hill, Casa Cielo is one of San Francisco’s best known homes. A rich local history and a location perched on top of the city make it a true once in a lifetime opportunity! The opulent interior features a massive formal living room with vaulted ceilings, multiple sitting rooms, a large deck with 180 degree views of the city and bay, 3 bedrooms and 3 remodeled bathrooms. Surrounded by lush mature gardens and several patios with fountains. Detached one car garage with guest apt above.

And only one RealSpeak thrown in. You see, that’s how you get it done.

  1. fluj or kenny or whatever your name is:

you outta lighten up a bit on other sites and stop calling people names. not professional you know. no body will ever hire you when the word gets out.

  2. agreed. Although I have felt the hate over there as well. But you have got to bite your tongue, and nicely say that you are not giving out info anymore, and are there for the REporn oohs and aahs.

  3. Writing as a reader of both sites….

Can we just leave the battle on the ‘other site’ on the other site? Why bring it here?

  4. Well, I not so nicely said I’m no longer giving out information over there. To be honest I would have responded angrily today’s particular bit of disinformation if it was presented to me in person, and my clients would have thanked me for it. It is not always in the client’s best interest to be mr. nice guy. Sometimes you need to be a little harsh.

That said, your advice is sound Urban57 and sparky. I’m going to take your advice and behave accordingly. Here.

  5. I bring it here simply because fluj is also a prominent member of this site and spews his vitriol here too.

    grow up kenny.

  6. You made your point pretty well in the first post U57, and I took your criticism.

I do not think you can use “vitriol” to describe my contributions here. Particularly lately.

Let me just say this. In real life clients don’t hire agents to be nice to people all the time. They hire agents to do something that they cannot or won’t do themselves.

[Editor’s note: Sorry all, fluj’s comments were sent to spam for some reason. They have been released. I’m not monitoring comments if I don’t have to, so whatever you did on SS, keep it over there.]

  7. @urbanSF7: Pot, meet kettle. Your posting it here (or even reading here) does nothing to make this a better site.

  8. I don’t think fluj spits any vitriol here. I think he is a great benefit to this site. I think that we should leave the battling to the “other site” as well, and I think that is generally already true. My comment to fluj was meant to give him some advise when he ends up back over there, since he can’t stop himself.

  9. sorry PN, you’re just plain wrong. fluj stated that he had his last post at SS..and that people could find him back at the front steps. his words.

he’s the one who calls people names. I don’t. I’m just providing information.

    have a nice day.

  10. You win, urbanSF7 – you obviously understand how to make this a better site.

FWIW, fluj said you could come here to read him, not to carry a stupid shouting match to a new venue.

  11. Wow! Thank you! I always wanted to write in my site something like that. Can I take part of your post to my blog?
