Lakeshore Home_ $200,000 Under Asking

A Great Deal in SF? Lakeshore Home Sold for $200,000 Under Asking

Well, somebody may have scored a pretty good deal in Lakeshore.

The four-bedroom home at 111 Riverton Drive originally hit the market asking $1,800,000. When the dust settled on October 21, it SOLD for $1,600,000. That’s $200,000 under asking, or an 11.1% haircut. Ouch!

Built in 1950, this detached home comes with an updated kitchen, a level backyard, and additional living space downstairs. Not bad for the price!

Now here’s where things get interesting…

A substantially renovated four-bedroom home over on Springfield Drive sold OVER asking in August. Another 1950-era home on Eucalyptus Drive did the same in June.

Of course, every property has its differences (condition matters, folks!), but Riverton’s sale certainly raises an eyebrow.

The buyers walked away paying substantially less than the sellers originally wanted. Whether they got a genuine bargain depends on the home’s condition and market value.

Still, a $200,000 discount from the original ask in San Francisco?

Pretty darn good on paper!
