Now that’s a haircut… $215,000 below the original asking price for a single-family home in Oceanview.
This home originally hit the market at $1,000,000 before getting a price reduction to $900,000. After 37 days on the market, it eventually SOLD for $785,000 on October 9, 2026.
That’s a whopping 21.5% below the original ask, and $115,000 below the already reduced asking price. Ouch!
So what did the buyer get? A 1946 home with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 781 square feet, a one-car garage & a spacious backyard. The listing also notes the property was tenant-occupied.
And judging by the exterior photo, a little attention to the curb appeal probably wouldn’t hurt (just saying).
Was it a great deal? Hard to say without knowing more about the property’s condition and tenancy. But going from $1,000,000 to $785,000 is quite the adjustment.
Somebody got their reality check… and somebody got a house.
