SF market is crazy, and I am familiar with the market inside out being in the middle of it for 12 years. Last month, I made an attempt to take a look at the other side of the Silicon Valley, and here’s a little story about a house.

Located just blocks away from the San Jose SAP Center and Diridon Station, which currently serves Amtrak, Caltrain, ACE and VTA Light Rail, and less than 2 miles from downtown San Jose, this single-family house is in a safer part of San Jose according to San Jose Police Department Crime Map. No matter where you are, one thing is important: location. This is as good as it can get for a combination of great location and safe neighborhood. SJ is no SF, but with many developments popping up, San Jose will continue to urbanize and become more walkable.

Our client grabbed this cul-de-sac single-family home equipped with a 5,000 square feet backyard and an extended garage that can comfortably house 3 cars. As with many older homes, we did our due diligence and hand-held our client throughout the process, came up with a strategy, did the negotiation dance, and snapped it under asking price.
