Fire Damaged Home In San Francisco Sells For $602,000 Over Asking

“Fire Damaged”. Lucky 8’s? Or location? Perhaps all three combined made for one helluva frenzy on 1818 8th Ave, which by the way sold for $1,008,000 in 2012 looking like this. From $998,000 to $1,600,000, almost exactly seven years later, fire damaged, in worse condition than before…that’s what it takes to claim the top spot on this week’s list of Top 10 Overbids, apparently:

As for the rest, take note of how many of those properties were listed under $1,000,000. It’s damn near impossible to find anything good in SF under $1MM, so of course they’re going to get bid up.’s Friday. It’s Fleet Week. Get after it.

Happy Aloha Friday!
