San Francisco Real Estate Market Overbids Week Ending 5/24/19

Another doozy of a week in San Francisco real estate. We will have a full market breakdown for you soon, as our market is hot in spots, and not so hot in other spots (to say it technically).

For now, the week’s Overbids, and we might add the #1 spot clinched by our very own listing at 973a 14th St-the little TIC that could.

For a little insight as to how that played out: We were basing our list price, and ballpark sales price, on a recent comparable TIC sale on 15th St that closed for $1,550,000 or just over $1500/foot (yes, we are seeing that number more and more often). The open houses, private showings, phone calls, emails, texts, questions were off the charts. There were probably close to 200 or more people through the door, likely 50% of them “real” buyers. In the end, we received 10 offers, and it was very competitive. Ultimately, we had to pick one, so the sellers made their choice, and couldn’t be happier.

If you live in and around Duboce Triangle and are pondering a sale, it’s safe to say interest in that area of town is through the roof.
