It’s been another busy week in the world of San Francisco real estate, so we thought a quick recap of some of the most recent and worthy real estate porn is in order.

The overbids are one thing, but there were also some amazing properties to hit the market, get sold, and otherwise drop jaws we thought you might like to know about.
The devil may have had a hand in 666 Hamilton selling for a stunning $1,650,000 and only being a 2 bed, 1 bath home with 2 car parking…(LOL on calling it that even.). It’s a total tear-down (if the city would let you) on a great BIG lot that sold for under asking (if you can believe that). But really, make sure you check it out in all of its glory right here.
Because sometimes we like to pour salt in your open wound, for the same price (roughly) you can get this little Sonoma Nugget…
Not to be outdone in the wow factor. In case you missed the home with a pool in the middle of it for sale for $2,795,000, San Francisco has that for you too:
Speaking of pools, did you see the $40,500,000 pool on Lombard? It’s cantilevered, you know. So not only do you feel as if you are swimming on top of the city, you’re actually swimming on top of the city (sort of).
Lucky for you, at that price tag (which is a reduction from it’s original list price of $45,000,000 btw), it comes with an amazing home too, complete with the most amazing of indoor/outdoor living spaces, a ridiculously awesome kitchen, OMG…so many things. Here is what our friends at Curbed had to say:
Among its opulent and excessive features? A Japanese water-filtration system that allegedly improves your skin and hair, a cantilevered infinity pool, and a shower and sauna with glass walls overlooking the city.

There’s also a dining table and fireplace, and that’s before you even step foot indoors.
Inside you’ll find all of its interior past erased in favor of a modern look (think concrete, open, airy, bright) making up the roughly 9,500-square-foot estate.
Highlights include a two-story subterranean art galley (humidity controlled, of course); glass elevator to all levels; marble-encased master bathrooms; 850-square-foot wellness center with massage room; and a concrete tunnel-like drive that leads to a four-car garage, which Greg Malin, developer of Troon Pacific, likens to “the bat cave.”
At $4,265 per square foot…it’s a bargain!
Wowza…how can you top that? Well, depending on your taste for architecture and opulence, you might fancy this Norwegian-inspired condominium in Mission Dolores designed by Mork Ulnes Architects instead.
Listed at $2,995,000, which is only $1000 per square foot, it’s going to be VERY interesting to see where the dust settles on that gem.
