It’s safe to say people still want to live in San Francisco, especially San Francisco’s Outer Sunset District. With 1919 47th Ave listing at $999,000, and selling for $1,400,000 (mind you we’re still technically in the grips of this pandemic), one can only shake their head in disbelief. This is not the only insane overbid. As you can see below, there are 9 more, but even those aren’t the only ones, they’re just the top. This is happening all over the city at the moment, especially for single family homes.
Anywho, 1919 47th Ave is a cute house, no doubt. A couple pics below, more here.

Nonetheless, it’s always baffling, and I’ve been on both ends of these situations multiple times with buyers and sellers over many years. In fact, my buyer wrote an offer on 1919 47th ave and came short by $40,000. I believe there were 20 something offers on this home.
