I think though, that if the refs and linesmen missed it, even if Henry admits it, it is all part of the game. He got away with one. He is a competitor and it was in the moment. The referee and linesmen missed it, and missing the call is fair play. But by speaking up and admitting hand ball post match, Henry made the issue go upstairs. Now it's a matter of "Will Dommenich offer the Irish side a replay?" and "Will Sepp Blatter, the president of FIFA, step in?" The Irish need to ask themselves, would you offer a replay? If they can honestly say yes, then fair play. I doubt that's the case. And I doubt any Irish player would be dumb enough to admit hand ball post game anyway.
